LinkedIn Launches Sales Navigator Search and CRM Map Updates

LinkedIn Sales Solutions today announced a series of updates to the Sales Navigator platform, including improvements to the search experience, CRM integrations, and new homepage optimizations.

These new features aim to increase the efficiency of advertisers and sellers. Features will roll out throughout the first quarter of 2022.

Since its inception in 2017, LinkedIn Sales Navigator has become a crucial part of the sales funnel for many organizations.

The New LinkedIn Sales Navigator Search Experience

The first update comes in the form of better visualization in the search experience.

When you access the search toolbar, LinkedIn Sales Navigator now displays all available filters.

Additional options that will appear include “Company Headquarters” and “TeamLink Connections From”.

When filtering your target audience, the results will update in real time. This update makes finding your target audience or accounts easier and less time-consuming.

Sales Navigator and CRM Integration Updates

The second feature enhancement to LinkedIn Sales Navigator is for Advanced Plus users.

Sales Navigator can already connect to your CRM system (via Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce) to manage contacts. LinkedIn has added a new tool to this integration called the “Risk Opportunities” list.

This feature provides a report of people who left opportunities open, right in Sales Navigator.

The benefit of this feature helps you prioritize your efforts during critical times, as well as improve the quality of your pipeline.

Another CRM integration update is Enhanced CRM Cards. These enhanced CRM cards are added to account pages and contact pages, minimizing the need to switch between platforms.

You can view this information directly in Sales Navigator, with the ability to click directly into your CRM.

New homepage features

The last feature announced by LinkedIn was the update to the new homepage, which launched last quarter. The home page was a welcome addition to sales teams that displays personalized information for large accounts.

LinkedIn updated the Alerts feed, Priority Accounts section, and added a new “Bookmarked Alerts” tab.

With the Priority Accounts section, you can download the most important accounts for your business. For example, with so many people changing companies or professions, you are able to keep tabs on employee or workforce growth.
